Transfer from your hotel to the National airport in Maiquetia. Morning flight to Merida. Your host awaits you at the airport (description of exact host program see  program: "Stay with friends"). 
Immediate start of full day excursion to Jaji, an old restored colonial village of the Andes. From here we take the mountain road to San Juan de Lagunillas,  and visit  a sugar cane mill as well as the Laguna of Urao. Here we'll have lunch in a typical restaurant, where you can taste the specialties of this region.  
In the afternoon visit of the mountain village „ Pueblo.“ We shall arrive at the Lodge by 06:00 p.m., which is located outside of Merida in a mountain valley about 20 minutes away from town where you will stay overnight Accommodation in the Guesthouse, double room and private bath. Dinner at  08:00p.m.,  wine is included.

07:00 am Breakfast. Drive to Merida where we take the Teleferico (Cable Car) up to the highest stop available at the moment. Here we are at an altitude of 12.000 feet .We take a short and easy walk (air is thin up here) to explore the surroundings before going back to Merida by cable car. Lunch will be served in a restaurant in Merida. Afterwards we get to know the main Market and  the City of Merida, Plaza Bolivar, Museo de Juan Felix Sanchez, Paseo de los Pintores, Cathedral of Merida and the famous Ice-cream Parlor „ „Heladeria Coromoto“ (with 600 different flavors of ice cream, a world record according to the Guinness book). Around 06.00 p.m. we will arrive back "home". Dinner and  a good rest overnight.

After a hearty breakfast we will depart for a full day excursion up the Andean road through villages named: Mucuruba, Mucuchies and Apartaderos.  On our way we visit the Rock Chapel of Juan Felix Sanchez. From the laguna de Mucubaji we will ride on horse back to Laguna Negra and back. We will have lunch in a typical restaurant of this region: - Hotel Los Frailes. Afterwards we visit the valley of Mifafi, where Condors may be seen; offering at the same time an interesting exhibition and a small Museum . On our way back we drive up to the highest pass of the Anden mountains in Venezuela, called Paso Aguila. The road will take us from here downhill to the   city of Barinas, last big city before we get into the Llanos. On the way to Barinas we can observe what could be called Andean Piedmont. After arrival in Barinas we shall have dinner and spend the night at the Hotel.

Early morning breakfast at the hotel. Our trip takes us from Barinas to the Llanos (about 4 hours) and there to the  Hato of your choice: .“, Hato El Frio“ Biological Station or“ Hato El Cedral“ (for detailed description of both places please inform yourself with the guide “Llanos, Animal Paradise“.   Lunch at the Hato of your choice. The afternoon offers excursion to observe wildlife at its best. Dinner  after return and accommodation in double or single rooms including private bath.

Breakfast, Morning Excursion exploring the grounds of the Hato. Lunch. Afternoon :Continued  activities on the same grounds . Dinner and last night stay at the Hato. 

Drive to San Fernando after breakfast in order to board Plane to Caracas. From Caracas by car transfer to Morrocoy about 3 to 4 hour trip. Overnight spent at a private home called „Villa Mangrovia“. After a refreshing shower we  will meet at the terrace for a delicious drink! All rooms have private bath- simple but clean.

Breakfast. Boat trip to one of the beautiful islands which surround you here. All day is dedicated to swimming, snorkeling, sunbathing and relaxing. The  conductor of the boat will pick you up at the time which you have agreed upon and take you back to Villa Mangrovia. Drinks at the terrace and dinner as the day before. Wine is included with your meal. 

Breakfast and after that return to Caracas or Maiquetia Airport.

Caracas:

• Air ticket Caracas–>Merida

• 2 nights accommodation in a guest house in the vicinity of  Merida, including full board and national drinks. All transfers as well excursions to different parts of the Andes. Car or Van transport: Merida –Barinas – Llanos.

• Stay over night at  a hotel in Barinas incl. Dinner and 1 drink.

• 2 nights accommodation at the Hato of your choice(double or single room with private bath)
• 3 half day excursions into the wilderness full board and national drinks during meal times.

• Transfer by Car or Van from Maiquetia Airport Or Caracas to Morrocoy.

• 3 nights accommodation(double or single room with private bath) daily boat transportation to one of the islands, full board and national drinks. 
•  If desired hammocks and snorkeling gear is available on request. 
• Daily transfer to on of the Islands (“cayos”).
• Transfer back to Caracas or Caracas Airport (Miquetia) Day 9: After the breakfast drive back towards Caracas. 
• Optional: (Diving in the Morrocoy Nat. Park possible at nearby Diving Center in Tucacas).
