1^st day: Ciudad Bolivar (Puerto Ordaz) – Las Claritas
We start from Ciudad Bolivar (Puerto Ordaz) by Jeep or Van towards GUASIPATI and reach on the way the much talked about „El Dorado“, most important center of gold deposits in Venezuela and legend of the past, which always reminds of the dreamt of MANOA where all was supposed to have been gold and used in order to honor the sun and moon, which represented gods of the Inca emporium. Even today gold is still to be found - it's up to you to find out! La Escalera (the stairs up to the Gran Sabana - there is still an old path with steps to climb up into th highland)

We finally will arrive at what is going to be our small hotel in Las Claritas (all rooms w. private bath). In the afternoon we visit a Gold mine nearby. Good luck! Dinner before spending the night. (-/L/D)

2^nd – 3^th day: Visit to the waterfalls,
located in the midst of Pemon territory - the Gran Sabana. Waterfall in local language is MERU, and so we shall visit the KAMA MERU –the ARAPAN MERU – YURUANI MERU – and KARO MARU, which

offers a riverbed of semiprecious Jade! Everywhere here you may bathe without hesitation; the waters are definitely clean and there are no Piranhas or Electric Eels around. Totally safe and pure pleasure. At times we will discover trails by jeep or explore by boat our rich surroundings. Food is simply delicious considering that you are far away from civilization. We stay in Posadas (small hotels, all rooms with private bath). (B/L/D)

4^th day: Santa Elena – Ciudad Bolivar (Puerto Ordaz)
Sorry to say, but after breakfast it means good bye and return to Puerto Ordaz. (B/L/-)
