Excursion to Angel Falls 3 days / 2 nights 1 nigh |
Day 1: Meet our representative at the airport. Afternoon Hiking excursion to Sapo Falls, Canaima lagoon and surrounding falls. Evening stay at Posada in a Double room. Overnight sleeping in beds (L,D)
Day 2: From 2 day Angel Falls river expedition (June to October: if water level and weather permits!). All meals are included during excursions. (from November to May: Orquid island full day.) Sleep in hammock with mosquito protection. (B,L,D)
Day 3: Returning
to Canaima airport on time for the flight departures arround 12:00 midday.
End of services.

Important
notice: It may occur that this tour will not be able to reach Angel
Falls due to low water level on the Churun river. It very seldom happens
that it does not rain for a couple of days during rainy season. If this
should be the case, there will be no way to overcome the last rapids before
Angel Falls, and walking is impossible! Sorry, there will be no refund
should this be the case! Anyhow, we will do something nice instead.

Situated
on a lagoon with beach, five minutes from the airfield in the midst of
a wilderness park. From the restaurant terrace you'll see the Carrao River
tumbling over Hacha Falls into the unusual tannin-coloured lagoon. Simple
bungalows have private bathroom with shower, and the restaurant offers
generally self-service meals.

JUNGLE RUDY'S CAMP - UCAIMA |
Well known “Jungle Rudy” built his camp in Ucaima, a few minutes by jeep upriver from Canaima on the banks of the
Carrao
River. As many travelers report, you will be offered individual attention.
Sorry to say - but Rudy long passed away. We continue to refer to his Camp as of "Jungle Rudy's" in his honor! The Lodge today is run by one of his daughters. Accommodations in one of the 9 comfortable bungalows provide all the comfort you could wish in the wilderness.
